Stunning views from this fjord side hotel. Mountains, mist and fjord, right outside the room. Peaceful and in a calming and restful environment. Cosy, warm with funky restaurant onsite and nearby shops for souvenirs.
Everything was excellent

Big comfortable rooms
View ruined by cruise ships

The accommodation was outstanding. Lovely touch to receive a welcome drink and the gentleman on reception was very helpful and friendly. The staff in the restaurant on both the night of 9th and 10th Oct were outstanding and a credit to the hotel. One was a lovely girl from Seville and there was also a young man, both whose customer service was excellent.
We were told there was no 'English breakfast tea' available on our first morning at breakfast which seemed strange when we had some in our room and there was also some the following morning.

Convenient to shops, train and ferry.
The verandah rooms look straight into huge cruise ships .. no real view as implied in description.
