We have stayed at Marina Shores and other holiday Apartments in the area. We like it for its location and the walk into Airlie beach along the boardwalk is always a nice way to get to town.
We had a lovely time with our family and like I said the Apartment was great but the let down was the cleanliness. The stove was sticky and not cleaned after last guests, the range hood was dripping with grease. The fridge smelt of old seafood and the dishwasher was the same. It would not deter me from staying again but whoever owns the apartment should know it’s not being cleaned properly.

it is nice with pretty views close to things and clean and a nice pool
it is already expensive enough and we found a small sign in the kitchen saying you must take your bins out or it will cost extra $250 which i think is a bit ridiculous considering we already paid 1.5k for 3 nights and no other place has ever done that before. when we arrived the staff was a bit rude i walked in and saw all the bags people
had waiting there and just assumed we would have to do the same and we were very early so i said to the lady “our room probably isn’t ready yet hey” and she responded with “well i don’t know your name do i and im busy right now give me a second” just made me feel uncomfortable to say anything after that as im already a shy young lady. and then a man came in and was very nice to him so then her mood switched up after that and she was nice enough then. and then inside the apartment is very nice but usually in other places there would be an extra blanket especially since the blankets already on the bed are very thin and cold. before we arrived we also called about having troubles with our payment and we also asked politely about what the extra $200 bond is and she was very passive aggressive in the way she responded as if we had done something wrong by asking.
