- fantastic location, close by to everything
- bfst is ok
- beautiful view from terrace
- some of the reception staff is rude, dismissive and couldn’t care less
- my room had a lot of dust
- breakfast room doesn’t have enough of space for all the guests so sometimes you have to wait for someone to finish

This is our third time staying at the Pace Helvezia. The hotel is in the centre of Rome, a few minutes walk away from the Forum, Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. The staff are very friendly and helpful, happy to assist. Although there isn’t a bar at the hotel there are plenty of places to eat and drink just metres away.
Some of the areas and furnishings are looking a little tired.

The receptionist was very empathetic and allowed us an early check in at 7:00 a.m. He even told us that we could have breakfast. For the one night we stayed here, we got to have breakfast twice, with no additional cost. The hotel was beautiful, even the eating area was also styled. The lounge and reception area is also comfortable and welcoming. The buffet breakfast was delicious with a range of fruits, pastries, cereal, yogurt, eggs, bacon etc., juices, coffee, water, chocolate tea. I would definitely book this hotel again. This was my best hotel experience by far in Rome. It is also ideally located, an 8 minute walk to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. It's close to public transportation and the Trevi fountain, restaurants, stores and cafes all within walking distance. The area is also very safe.

Location, I liked the more traditional hotel vibe.
Not enough power outlets, the bathtub felt soft to step on, lights were either all on or none on (no control over individual lights, can only turn on the whole room), and bed was comfy but pillows were not. No robe ☹️
