Holiday Inn Milton Keynes Central by IHG

The staff were amazingly helpful from personal requests to restaurant recommendations. The bed was comfortable, there were extra pillows, the tea coffee and complimentary water were appreciated. The en suite had a bath with a shower over it which I'd asked for. Housekeeping was great. The parking was right in front of the hotel and the hotel location meant we were very central and 10 mins walk from numerous bars and restaurants. I used the pool and steam room too.

The self-service check-in asked for a lot of info to be typed in but the hotel, staff and location were all great and I felt I got value for money. Parking from 3pm on Friday to midday on Sunday was about £34 but most local car parks were around the same. There was no 'big light'. A light near the bedroom door and two lights above the bed.

Disappointed about having to pay extra for parking

Location is great. Room size was good and very clean.Great use of space with enough mirrors and good lighting for applying make-up. Huge TV and comfortable beds. Overall very good room with good size bathroom. Didn't use the gym etc but thats also a bonus. Whole hotel is fresh and clean.

Limited WiFi connection. Second tv had no Internet connection at all. Called at 8am to say bath plug was stuck was told maintenance would be in at at 9am and would deal with it no one came so only 1 of our group of 4 could have a bath, I booked this room for the bath as most hotels only have showers. On our arrival staff were friendly however when returning in the evening they seemed grumpy and like we were an inconvenience.
