Location was very convenient and within walking distance of many sights in Tainan. Very easy to explore from the location. The room was clean and a very good value. As others have noted, the entrance is a bit hidden - there is only a nondescript door with a small sign and an intercom/keypad. It is not your traditional hotel with a lobby, etc. The proprietors own the shoe shop on the bottom floor of the building and they will take you there for check in. They are very strict with check-in/out times, but are happy to store your luggage. Everything worked well in the room, including the AC, and it had all the necessities including a small fridge and filtered water in the common area. I would call the lodging utilitarian.
Nothing to complain about.

It was a very comfortable stay, the room and the bathroom were spacious and very clean, the localisation was great, we could easily walk to different places of the town.
Our room was at the end of the hall and the WiFi connection was not very good in some parts of the room.

店家人很好 服務算周到
比較可惜的是房間沒有附飲用水（要另外去裝水）以及房間的門不好鎖也不好開
