breakfast was good. coffee & tea available all day. room was very big with 2 balconies! with views of mountains & city. hot water that lasted more than 5 minutes! Very clean! extra local heavy beautiful blankets for the cold nights.
I waited 2 hours outside, in the cold from 4:30-6:30, for the staff to show up so I could check in!!!!! every time i called them "5 minutes please". I had a confirmed late check in of 5pm. They told me they left around 4:30 since I hadn't shown up. Why not contact me??? I don't know.

The staff were very hospitable, the room was simple and comfortable. It was a close enough walking distance to town.
There were dogs barking next door.

The view from the roof is amazing and is in a quiet neighborhood. Also the breakfast is great

Staff were friendly and helpful (allowed us to leave our bags while we were trekking and keep some food in their fridge), despite us not speaking much Spanish!
We knew the hostel was a bit out of town, but it is up a dirt track frequented by lots of dogs which was unsettling after dark! Fine if you're with a group.
When we arrived in the room we had to run the shower and taps to get rid of a drain smell.
