Beautiful setting and architectural style
Surrounding area a little rough and some of the staff less welcoming

Great hotel! Beautiful landscape, the team was extremely helpful , friendly and warm. Especially Elionora! Breakfast is superb, we also had dinner which was a dinner to remember! We will be more than happy to come again. Thanks!

Beautiful & stylishly converted Palmento building. Gardens & pool area were lovely too. Exceptional food at the Michelin starred restaurant. The wine tasting at the hotel’s Maugeri vineyard on the slopes of Etna was exceptional too. The more casual weekly gourmet pizza evening was a lovely experience.
Glazed doors & walls around the toilet & shower area in our garden bedroom - just a personal thing to me, I like more privacy! It wouldn’t put me off staying again, just a small point.

The food was excellent and staff excellent, bed comfortable, and a good bathroom.
The train line just outside was a disappointment, and it ran from 7.00 till midnight, the room was also next the kitchen and it could be heard. Had to ask for towels by the pool and also for someone to take the drinks order.
