This was one the best expiriences i have ever had with a stay. The staff was sooo kind and helpful. Everything was so clean and convinient. And the ryokan was such a nice place to stay while in Tokio. The area it is in is really nice and there are two stations nearby. I will come back for sure. Thank you

Ryokan Sansuiso is a traditional Japanese inn and a wonderful place to stay. I was able to practice my rudimentary Japanese there checking in and out which was enjoyable. It is also near the station on the JR Yamamoto line which makes it convenient to many sites.

This hotel feels like our secret weapon in Tokyo--close to subway and JR (7 min walk), almost adjacent to a Family Mart, staff warm and welcoming, all facilities immaculate. The shared toilet/showers/bath may not be for everyone but it is very much for me. Enough of each that I never had to wait, they were kept spotlessly clean and other guests are so quiet I would not have known they were there other than that the house slippers were taken.
Room smelled a bit musty, which could be a problem for someone with severe allergies. This was my experience in many hotels, so it may just be the combination of a damp environment and the tatami mats.

This a Japanese inn style hotel and very close to the Yamanote line Gotanda station which helped with easy transportation to all the places I needed to be. Lots of places to eat nearby and the staff were friendly too.
❶ My room had a continuous weird smell - I suspect the tatami mats were damp and wasn't getting enough opportunity to dry. As soon as I close the door, the smell would build up and wasn't pleasant at all. Ventilation was also an issue. ❷ The hotel didn't supply drinking water, I had to buy from the nearest 7-11.
