I arrived at Kymata Hotel straight after five days of hiking up and down Mount Olympus; at that point, I was probably more beast than man. :)
The Kymata staff were extremely professional, patient and kind, and gently reintroduced me to civilization through the cozy atmosphere, excellent food and wine, and wonderful hospitality.
The fish was always fresh and delicious.
The beach is literally a one-minute walk from the hotel entrance, while the centre of Platamonas and the Byzantine castle above the hotel are both about a 20-minute walk away.
I stayed for only two nights, but I felt completely at ease. When — not if — I come back to climb Olympus again, I will definitely stay at Kymata again.
The weather... but that's hardly Kymata's responsibility.
And even that didn't stop me from enjoying Kymatas private beach and swimming in the sea. :)

The location is great, we had a room with balcony by the sea, I loved it! You are hearing the sea waves all the time next to you 🤍
