Cottage at the Cove is a lovely recently refurbished 1884 vintage Victorian located just steps from Lover's Point park and beach in the Retreat District. The oceanfront recreation trail leads you to the Point Pinos Lighthouse to the west and the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row to the east. The wonderful Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Course is just around the corner. A 3 block walk to town will find you in the midst of Pacific Grove friendliness: shops for any and all necessities/frivolities, antiques and curios, grocery store, pharmacy, banks, bookstore, delightful restaurants and bakeries, library, museum, art galleries, historical gardens, various parks, and the four screen movie theater. Pacific Grove is a town without stoplights, still! Park your car at the cottage and enjoy Pacific Grove by foot.

When arriving the beautiful cottage it was amazingly within Pacific Grove with ocean one block away. The cottage offered a relaxing vibe as soon as we entered. The entire cottage offered any amenity needed for a perfect stay. We most enjoyed the collection of books and art objects from many parts of the world. Thank you Barbara for sharing your small piece of paradise.

The location was perfect. We were able to walk to our favorite places. Loved all the artwork, books and antiques. So many friendly people walk by and visit when you relax on the porch. Only had one issue parking out front. So many details were considered and made you feel at home right away.

We always love staying at this cottage - just steps from the beach and downtown PG! Wonderful porch to sit and watch the world go by also. We have stayed here many times and Barbara's cottage is always absolutely amazing!

Adorable “vintage” home. Great location for our whale watch, aquarium, and Fisherman’s Wharf! Cute town, Pacific Grove, within a 5-10 minute walk! Clean, comfy bed, and everything you could need for a cozy stay!
