Wonderful property. Very clean. Rooms are well appointed. Coffee and tea was made available which was a pleasant surprise. Check-in was smooth. Beds comfy and showers hot! Interior courtyard with balcony. All that is wonderful. What we didn't know is that the apartment is above retail shops on a public square/park. There were a number of homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk outside the house and sadly a lot of graffiti (as is the norm in Rome now). If you are not used to this, it may make you nervous when first arriving. Also as our luck would have it, there was a scheduled immigration protest on the streets outside. That changed the vibe of the neighborhood considerably during the protest. However, the double entry (outside door) plus door into the apartment was very secure and we felt very safe. Also as soon as the protests were over, families and kids returned to the park. As is well, we felt safe walking around during daylight hours and the park across the street was a huge bonus! Plus a great Gelato kiosk and flower kiosk across the park.

Our host was great! Efficient and great communication from before we checked in to the end of our stay. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of room for our party of 9. Our host provided us with a coffee machine, plenty of water and the house slippers were a great touch. Good location close to Roma Termini train station and the Metro. The surrounding piazza had some good coffee shops and wine bars. Loved our stay.
