Location is exceptionally good if visiting Nara Park, as you are right in the Middle of the best part of the park, surrounded by wild deer and very close to beautiful temples.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming.
The shower was really nice and the kitchen and dining area were spacious.
The apartment we got was facing the back of the building. There are three apartments on the ground floor. Two face the street so there’s no much privacy as people walk pass all day. Ours faced the back of the building. There was an outdoor space accessible through bi-folding doors but it looked sad and abandoned. The apartment was clean and tidy but it did have a musty smell of damp, which impregnated all our clothes even after we left. The place has barely any natural light coming in despite there being a big window. We needed the lights on even at 11 in the morning. The sofa was old and extremely uncomfortable. There was bo bedside table or any other furniture in the toom, to place things such as jewelry, phone or watch. It felt very basic

Being up in the hill in Nara was really special. We hiked to the top and saw the sunset from the nearby temple. We loved watching our deer companions hanging outside our room.

Location is exceptional. You are far from main touristic mayhem.
Deer are always available and it is not the mean kind of deer that harass you for food.
We booked for 4 beds. We saw bunk type on the site. Unfortunately 1 bed was a sofa bed that was very very uncomfortable. The cushions were soft but so soft the wooden frame cut in your back.

This was such a wonderful find! We loved how the deer came right up to our door and the beautiful temple is literally right at your doorstep.
