Airport Hotel Kumamoto

I stayed for two nights at this excellent hotel. The room was a good size and had nice decor and a lovely view of the extensive lawn area at the rear of the hotel. Overall the hotel felt like it was new, and I could tell that it was well run. The breakfast buffet was excellent and there were plenty of options for both Japanese and Western tastes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that is flying into or out of Kumamoto airport. The hotel also has a large parking area, so it is ideal if you are traveling by car or motorcycle, the parking is free too. I was traveling by motorcycle and not long after parking the bike at the hotel, I realised that I had flat tyre. After checking in, I explained the situation to the staff at the reception, I don’t speak Japanese, so with their knowledge of English and with the help of google translate, they understood the situation. I then asked them if they knew where I would be able to get the tyre repaired the next day. The staff went out of their way to help with this, including calling some of the local businesses on my behalf the following morning and finding out where I could get the puncture fixed and how much it would cost. It all worked out well due to their help. It would have been difficult for me to arrange it on my own. I really cannot thank the helpful staff at the reception enough, it was so appreciated. I would highly recommend the hotel anyway due to its decor, cleanliness, lovely rooms and buffet breakfast, but the kind and helpful staff really made a significant difference to my trip.

Environmental good, but no surprise

Too much charge
