The hotel was pretty quiet, almost too quiet and the halls are very classic and antique looking almost something out of a movie. I was in a two single beds room that came with a 3rd unexpected bed. The kettle that was provided initially looked like it was ridiculously short however the lead extends. The AC makes a weird noise for the first 5 minutes but after that blows cold air. The mattress felt too bouncy and the design of a frame meant that the mattress sat on a completely flat surface and it didn't have anything to keep it's structure on either side of the mattress, so throughout the night you will sometimes feel like you are about to fall from either side of the bed, mind you I had a single bed if it was a double bed I doubt it would be a worry. The rooms also have TVs and blow dryers. The toilet designs are decent too.
There is coffee and tea provided, I felt like the amount of sugar and milk provided were not enough as I like to have lots of sugar in my tea and coffee. But I also appreciate the gesture.

The staff were highly professional and friendly. The hotel is very clean, showers were hot and everything worked. The breakfast was really good.

Great location with the tram stop a stones throw away, giving easy access to Old Trafford and Manchester.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent situation, just 5 mins walk from the trams to central Manchester. Plenty of parking space. The restaurant food was very good (served in the bar), the breakfast adequate (served in the restaurant).
If you have trouble with stairs, ask about access: the hotel was cleverly designed with the lifts opening onto landings between the floors. My reporting that there was no power in the shaver socket had no effect, not even an explanation.
