Large room, generous comfortable bed, friendly and accommodating host, good location for park.
Needed more cutlery in kitchen. Some bathroom smell.

Very friendly and helpful owner who was there to welcome me, and upgraded my room to a very large one. Street parking outside, which was free. Good location near city, nice area of Cardiff near cafes and co-op
Many wouldn't mind this - but for me overuse of bleach like cleaning products in the bathroom.

We had a great stay here while attending the Cardiff Half Marathon. The location was excellent, very close to Cardiff Castle and within easy walking distance of the start and finish area.
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The host kindly allowed us to extend our checkout so we could finish the half marathon and come back afterwards to collect our bags. This made race day so much easier for us.
The only downside was that the room itself could have been cleaner. There were quite a few cobwebs around the walls and a lot of dust on the light fittings and some other areas, so it could definitely do with a more thorough clean.
