Everything was great!! I won't repeat all the comments on here about the friendly staff, huge size of the hostel, amazing food, rooftop views, cleanliness, location, bikes... etc... too much to mention. Everything is TRUE. I'd happily stay here for much longer and use as a base for Miyajima and or Hiroshima. It's perfect for solo, couples or long stay. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Just a note, there are no lifts, so you'll need to carry your luggage up the stairs.

These overnight stays were a complete surprise for us. A unique place to stay, with themed rooms. We had the camper room, basically a bungalow tent set up inside the room, with all the amenities and atmosphere you find at a campsite. I don't like camping, but this was so much fun. The common area is perfect for meeting other people, having a glass of whiskey or something else to drink or eat, at affordable prices. The people who run the hostel are particularly nice. Highly recommended.
If your only goal is to visit the city of Hiroshima, it takes about 45 minutes by public transport; if you are coming for Miyajima, it is 3 stops by tram and you are perfectly situated.
