Hippie Chic Hotel

The room and beach was excellent. Plenty of fish to see when snorkelling, only 30 metres out. Restaurant was outstanding with beautiful views.

The breakfast cold food was all open I felt it should be covered up. Breakfast staff seemed disorganised not very helpful. Coffee machine regularly out of order. Buffet food only topped up if you asked.

This is a beautiful hotel right on the water. We were upgraded to a gorgeous room with a hot tub and lovely view (the photo is from our balcony—can you beat that??). The restaurant associated with the hotel, Hippie Fish, is top-notch. The breakfast was awesome. They provided a shuttle into Mykonos-Town which was really helpful. We participated in the Sunday night show Hippie Fish has and it was really fun. The staff was lovely and helpful. Pay attention when they show you how the AC works, because it was not intuitive and we spent one very hot night there before we understood how it worked.

The only real improvement I would make is not necessarily related to the hotel, but to the restaurant—they play techno-pop music very loud, non-stop (thank goodness not at breakfast!), and for the young partiers, I suppose this is fine, but it is not very relaxing. Even lying at the beach, you can’t get away from it. Kind of clashed with the cool, relaxed vibe. Also, minor complaint (and we found this true at the place we stayed in Santorini)—you can’t set the hot tub above 34 degrees C, and this is just not very hot. In the end, you get more of a chill than anything from sitting in it and have to take a hot shower after to warm up! 😂 But ours had such a beautiful view, it was okay.

The staff are amazing, all so friendly and helpful. The hotel has a beautiful position on the water, stylish decor and delicious food. Wonderful sunset views every night .The atmosphere is one of total relaxation

Beds and pillows rather hard for me but my husband liked them but it would not stop me going to this fabulous hotel again

The location of the property is right in Agios Ioanis with a lovely beach front. The hotel has sun beds on the beach as well as on the terrace near the pool. The places were enough during our stay, in September. They have the Hippie Fish restaurant right next to them, where breakfast is served, really good breakfast options and friendly personnel. We have had lunch there a couple of days, the food was delicious. The hotel also provides a shuttle for going to the main town of Chora every day after 6PM, with return until midnight. They also offer parking on site, in case you have a car rented. The staff is very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. We were lucky to receive an upgrade to a superior room with a sea view, which was really lovely as we could overlook the sea at sunset. The room was spacious and clean, with really nice beach towels. During our stay there was also a wedding hosted, but the rooms were so good insulated that we could not hear anything. All in all it was a very lovely and relaxing stay at the Hippie Chic hotel and in Mykonos
