Regency by GRT is a nice hotel, with very congenial and hospitable staff. They have a good multi cuisine restaurant that serves authentic south indian food. Their chicken preparations are awesome. It is an ideal stay if you are visiting Tuticorin and planning to visit surrounding areas like Kanyakumari & the awesome temples nearby.
The approach to the hotel is not that good. The highway location can be a bit difficult to walk and get auto etc. But auto / cab commutes are available.

Very good staff.
Hotel was extremely outdated, the lifts were hot and stuffy. The bathroom layout was very congested. The aircond was old and extremely noisy, it was difficult to sleep at night. Was only here for a night to visit thiruchendur temple, among all the hotels in the area this was the only decent choice.
