Impeccable

Amazing host

3 / 10

Amazing view, but unfortunately very dirty and uncomfortable.

The view from the balcony was amazing, and the AC worked properly most of the time. The host also seemed nice and friendly.

The room was very old and dirty and looked much worse than in the photos. It felt genuinely uncomfortable staying there, even for just two nights. The ceiling looked as though someone had simply painted over mould. The curtains were yellow, although I assume they were originally white, and the floor was sticky in several places. Worst of all was the bed, which smelled terrible. It felt like neither the sheets nor the pillows had been washed properly, which made sleeping there very unpleasant. The “kitchen” in the apartment was also almost useless. There were some old pans, plates, and cups, but no basic cutlery, knives, or even a cutting board. The only cutlery we could find was downstairs, mixed together in a literal pile of dishes. The fridge in the room was also really noisy and was initially set to the lowest cooling level, barely producing any cold. At this setting, it would occasionally make loud noises that woke us up during the night. Turning up the cooling level made it quieter, although it still produced some noise. When we arrived, the bottle of soap was almost empty, and unfortunately we were not provided with another one. A smaller issue, but still worth mentioning, is that the hosts did not speak any English at all, which made communicating even about basic matters very difficult. Also, bear in mind that the apartment is quite high up from the main road. If you’re arriving by bus, be prepared for a fairly steep walk uphill with your luggage. To be fair, this is the case with many apartments in Budva, but it is still something worth knowing before booking. Overall, the apartment was in much worse condition than the listing suggested, particularly in terms of cleanliness. I would not stay here again.

Really nice

Really nice place! The lady who was there was extremely helpful. Even though she didn’t speak English, she still made sure we understood everything and showed us a shortcut that helped us reach the Old Town in a very short time. The location was great, and we didn’t need to use our car at all since everything was within walking distance. The balcony was also really nice and had a beautiful view. Overall, we had a great stay!

The room wasn’t particularly modern, but for what we paid, it was more than enough. I would definitely stay here again. The parking situation was a little confusing at first, but the lady was very helpful and assisted us a lot.
