H La Paloma Boutique

We had a lovely stay in this small hotel and found the location very convenient for getting around Barcelona. The reception team were great with their communication before we arrived and did all they could to make our stay enjoyable including letting us leave our luggage with them before we checked in, offering recommendations for restaurants, bars and travelling around the city and offering a late checkout. Our room was a good size and simply furnished with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. The cleaning team do a great job and our room was spotless as was the rest of the hotel. Our booking included breakfast and this was an absolutely lovely start to our day. The continental breakfast is served in a cafe style area near reception and included a wide variety of items such as cold meats and cheeses, spanish omlette, cake and pastries, yoghurt, cereal, fruit, juice and toast and I think it was served between 7am and 11am. There is a great coffee machine and cold water which are available all the time. There are lots of places to eat locally and it was an easy 10 minute walk to get to the Autobus stop to get to the airport. The hotel is at the edge of the El Ravel district so we made sure to use the well lit main roads when we walked back to the hotel late at night as some of the smaller side roads were rather dark and narrow.

The staff was so friendly and helpful! The room was perfect and the breakfast was delicious. Thanks for a great 1st time in Barcelona!

Staff smiled a lot but actually not so helpful. They didn’t replace an item of mine broken by them. Felt as if they were just pretending.
