A very solid bed and breakfast. Nice spacious room and a nice breakfast to send us on our way. Mary gave us some great recommendations to see nearby. Overall, we had a pleasant stay towards the end of our 20-day tour. The location is very good for exploring Saumur and the surrounding Loire Valley. Overall, we had a pleasant stay.

Nothing.

Very welcoming. Lovely room with large comfortable bed. Very clean and good facilities in the room and on site. Pool immaculately clean and good loungers plus outside seating area lower down by the house. Staff were all excellent and clearly taken pride in their work. Breakfast excellent too.

Only downside is location slightly out of town. We walked into town and back in both nights of our stay - 30 minutes on flat. One small section of road nearest the chateau has no defined pavement although road is wide so felt fairly safe but may be more traffic at other times which may be a bit risky for some.
