Insel is all about its people - warm, welcoming, and engaging. They made our stay cozy and comfortable, with a feeling of "home away from home." Restaurant has a decent menu, although vegetarian options could be expanded.
1. We stayed in 2 different rooms. Even the one advertised as "semi-airconditioned" (whatever that means) had no AC and despite keeping windows open, it was very warm and humid and made for disturbed sleep.
2. Despite there being sufficient space in the room, no provision had been made to keep the luggage at a comfortable height. Keeping luggage on the floor and handling was very tough.
