About this house rental
Nestled between river and sea, this artists retreat is three blocks from the beach and walking distance to many exciting activities. Water sports, dining, theater, aquarium and shopping are just a few adventures Seaside has to offer. Exploring the Oregon coast is also a breeze from this central location. The house includes two upstairs bedrooms with queen size beds. A master bedroom with a private deck is great for stargazing and bird watching with a view of Tillamook Head. A queen size pullout sofa is available for 2 additional guests downstairs. Master bath on upper floor features a jetted tub and walk-in shower. A full bath is also located on lower lever, along with a newly renovated kitchen, a laundry room, dining and living areas. To avoid any confusion, the fireplace is NOT available for guest use or listed as a property amenity. Your furry friends are welcome to stay as well. Please note: this amenity is $25 per night, when you book. *additional fees may apply for multiple pets.

Great place for a family of four

The place was in an awesome location and very cute! For the price (we paid nearly 1,500 for 3 nights in July over a non holiday weekend) it felt like the house lacked quite a bit. The deck was falling apart, most windows don't have screens, upstairs exterior door to patio wouldn't open, etc. While much of the house was clean, such as the sheets and towels, it seemed evident a professional house cleaner wasn't used, as certain areas were caked in dust, such as the blinds when opening and closing. The yard was large and would've been perfect for kids and dogs to run around, but was not maintained and unusable. Overall the property has charm and a ton of potential, but felt under-maintained.

I like a lot about our stay at this cute little house. I liked that it was pet friendly, I liked that one bedroom had an onsuite bathroom. I liked that it had a fenced yard. What I didn’t like is there is no AC, just one box fan. Also the sliding door to the balcony upstairs doesn’t work and my check out experience was more then unpleasant. We were there for a soccer tournament. We stayed Friday-Sunday and check out was at 11am. We had a game at 9:20am so I packed up all our stuff before we had to leave for the game that way if the game went long I wouldn’t still have stuff in the house. Our game finished at 10:20am so my kids and I walked back to the house just to use the bathroom and chill for a little until our next game. When we arrived back at the property at about 10:35am the owner was inside the house already cleaning. Beds had been stripped, all towels collected, entire downstairs vacuumed. Thinking he showed up very quickly after we left for soccer. Shocked by someone being there I asked “don’t we have the property until 11am” The owner responded with “yes, but I saw your car wasn’t here (although it was parked right in front on the street) and all your stuff was packed. Moving forward after that he just wasn’t very polite. Seemed to be bothered that we arrived back. Made a comment about not bringing sand in like it was an issue or something. I mean we have four kids and a pup at a beach house, of course there’ll be sand. Just not pleasant. Won’t be returning.
