Ideal location as a few mins away from the station and central to what we needed. Got everything we needed in the apartment. Comfortable setting.
Bathroom needs an upgrade. Shower floor has tape across the floor whilst the bathroom needs a good sort out as the toilet seat was wonky, floor tiles were uneven and just needs a good paint/reseal. Also a coat of paint across the main road as chips of paint has come off the walls.

This is one of the many boutique style hotels lining Argyle Square and sourrounding streets. Good pressure and temperature control in shower. The room I had was a kind of annexe or outhouse building, which was fine. The three staff members I interacted with were very pleasant, and friendly. The WiFi connection was good. The proximity to Kings Cross St Pancras stations and underground is excellent.
The room had a bit of a damp smell. I went three times round Argyle Square looking for a "Melville" sign and finally realised there isn't one - it's Roksy. I think there has been a fairly recent change of ownership are the names Exelsior, Melville and Roksy all seem to be associated with this hotel. There were some sheets of plasterboard and plywood propped in the acess corridor, so I guess some upgrading work is imminent. The hotel does not offer breakfast, but there are plenty of places nearby.

Great stay overall and I would happily stay here again. The staff were excellent – very friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The location was ideal, making it easy to get around and explore the area. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel offered good value for money.
A few of the lights in the room weren't working, which was a little inconvenient. The curtains were looking a bit tatty and could do with replacing. The pillows weren't very comfortable. A dressing table with a mirror would have been a useful addition to the room.

The staff is friendly, hotel next door where reception is seems to be in good condition, good to have towels in the room.
The condition of the room is poor: the bathroom is small, difficult to adjust temperature of shower, the room smell damp, four out of the six down lights were broken, two out of three light switches were not working, hair dryer looks dirty and can’t be used, table suffers from damp damage. The hotel next door seems to be in good condition, but this building is rundown, corridor is covered under construction and with a hover blocking the corridor. Never book this garden room when it is raining! I would request a refund if possible.
