Very clean, great location with free parking. Lovely breakfasts cooked to order. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The pub area is also very comfortable with a decent menu
Nothing really other than my partner banging his head on low ceilings (lots of windy/wonky staircases and tight corners). Obviously cannot be helped due to age of the building . . And he should look where he’s going!

This is a fantastic place to stay, we have visited on many occasions and can recommend that you give this pub a go. The staff are really helpful and polite, the food is very good and the atmosphere in the pub was exactly what you want for a convivial evening destination. The rooms are clean and tidy as you would expect and have a certain charm that can only come from a building that is over 200 years old. We have stayed in a few different rooms and are always surprised by how different each room is, there has never been anything we have had cause to complain about which just shows how much effort the team at the C&B put into making the pub a brilliant destination. There is plenty of parking at the pub and Marlborough is a lovely place to wander around and enjoy what's on offer. It's a 10 from me and we will be visiting again. Thanks to all the team for another fantastic stay at the Castle & Ball.
Absolutely nothing.

The location is so central, & outside car park excellent. The hard working staff were helpful.
Breakfast was freshly cooked, & brought to table.
