Breakfast was wonderful and the servers and cleaning staff were wonderful. I speak very little Italian and they are very gracious. Great price. My son and his family live in Monterotundo so it’s very convenient and perfect for my purposes. Little bit of a long train ride into Rome and the train station is not a walkable distance. Lots of history all around the city though.
European mattresses are strange wherever you stay.

As a pilgrim walking Via di Francesco it was close to the route
The room did have an odd odour. Musty/smoky?? Opening windows did help
