Comfortable beds, windows that opened for fresh air, decent hot breakfast, free parking
Most of the hot tub jets did not work and it wasn’t very hot. Dark in the pool area, they could change the lightbulbs that are burned out.
I didn’t like the liquid eggs, would rather hard-boiled option.

We had a great stay at AmericInn. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, and the staff was friendly. The location was convenient, and we would definitely stay here again.
There wasn’t much to complain about

The location of the AmericInn in Detroit Lakes was great.
Our reservation was for 3 nites - we were locked out of our room after the first nite. The bathroom was very small - could hardly move in the room where the toilet/shower were. The body soap dispenser, the shampoo dispenser and the conditioner dispenser were all empty. Don't they get checked when the room is cleaned? Plus the carpeting was very dirty.
