Our family-friendly guesthouse, “Beim Rottmeister,” is located in the heart of Reit im Winkl. It’s a home filled with thoughtful details, nestled in the midst of one of Bavaria’s most beautiful vacation regions. The central yet quiet location of our guesthouse means that not only you, but also your car, can enjoy a vacation. The guesthouse offers everything you need to unwind from the daily hustle and bustle and the ever-increasing stress of everyday life in a relaxed atmosphere, allowing you to recharge your batteries. You’ll find very comfortably furnished vacation apartments designed for comfort and a personal, cozy atmosphere. Spacious, light-filled rooms—all with balconies and breathtaking views—ensure an unparalleled sense of well-being. Flat-screen TVs provide entertainment for the whole family. And if you choose to eat at home, you’ll have access to a fully equipped kitchen featuring a four-burner ceramic cooktop, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Sun-seekers will be in heaven on our terrace and beautiful lawn. For our younger guests, there’s a playground in our private garden. You can relax in our small steam or dry sauna. A heated ski room is available for your sports equipment. Bicycles and motorcycles can be stored in the garage. All local attractions, winter and summer hiking trails, the outdoor pool, the ski lifts, the cross-country ski trails, the children’s ski area, the ski school, our farm theater, and all shopping options in the village are within a few minutes’ walk. One key factor is its high altitude, which ensures that summer heat is moderated and nights remain pleasantly cool. The town is surrounded by extensive mountain forests of the Chiemgau Alps and, in terms of its general climate, belongs to the “Bavarian Alps” climate region. The character of the weather is decisively determined by the local conditions—that is, by the influence of the mountain ranges and valleys on weather patterns. In addition to the natural conditions that ensure good air quality, we actively work to preserve the fresh mountain air by utilizing natural heat and providing ample bus service.
