Top value of this hotel is the excellent staff. They were very kind to us and very courteous. Manager Manjula was an excellent communicator who is a real assset of this hotel. The others were very nice too, doing their best to keep the guests happy despite trying conditions of the property.
The property is showing its age. Many things that should work are not working properly. Door locks to balcony are not working properly, water pressure in bathrooms very poor, dining hall has creeping bugs and gets wet in the rain. Owners need to invest more for this property pretty soon or else it would be beyond repairs. It is a shame because the property location is one of the best - the panaromic views over the Dumbara Valley is one of the best Ive ever seen in Sri Lanka.

The breathtaking view of the mountain range
The access road was a bit narrow.
