The best vacation rental we have ever experienced. This home is laid out perfectly for multigenerational travel — plenty of shared gathering spaces, yet more than enough privacy for everyone to unwind. It feels both expansive and intimate at the same time. The kitchen is stocked for a true gourmet cook, with every tool and utensil you could dream of. Even the practical items — brooms, vacuums, mops — are thoughtfully provided so you can keep the home feeling as lovely as when you arrived. The linens are high‑end and luxurious, and the library is a true treasure — filled with local history, regional stories, and novels for every taste. Add to that the stereo system wired throughout the house, and you have an atmosphere that feels curated, warm, and deeply inviting. And then there’s the art: every corner reveals a new, intentional surprise that elevates the entire home into something inspired and unforgettable. The setting is just as magical. The shoreline is peaceful and full of wildlife — deer moving quietly through the trees, birds along the water, and the gentle sounds of the woods surrounding you. It feels completely secluded, yet you’re only minutes from Bridge Street and the charming town of Charlevoix. It’s the best of both worlds: total privacy with instant access to everything. We also rented a boat from Patriot Pontoon MI, and I highly recommend them. They delivered the boat directly to the dock, making the whole experience effortless and incredibly fun.By the
