Sehr gute Lage und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die Unterkunft hat vor allem seinen ursprünglichen Charme behalten und der Blick aus dem Fenster auf das Meer war sehr nice. Ausserdem war das Personal äusserst zuvorkommend, herzlich und hilfsbereit.

L'emplacement au coeur de la ville. Chambre simple mais agréable, authentique, bois, pierre, très spacieuse. Hôte sympa. Petit déjeuner à faire soi même avec les produits qu'on nous donne : yaourt grec, céréales, biscottes, mini croissant, confiture, beurre, jus de fruits, pâte à tartiner.
En face de la fenêtre se trouvait dans l'immeuble d'en face une climatisation qui faisait un énorme bruit donc obligé de fermer les fenêtres mais même fermé on l'entendait. Il faudrait trouver une solution. Un peu de bruit des gens car au milieu de la rue principale mais en septembre/octobre cela allait.

Goede locatie
Het is niet superschoon (maar wel goed genoeg. Het is ook een oud gebouw). Het is allemaal wat verouderd. Ook is er niet echt een badkamermeubel en de airco is niet zo krachtig als we in Griekenland gewend zijn.

Cute Room, but Unfortunately Disappointing Service
The small room is located right at the entrance to the fortress and is really charmingly furnished. It was clean and cozy, although there is neither a balcony nor a terrace. There was also a slight drain odor in the bathroom.
However, what significantly marred our stay was the way the breakfast we had booked was handled.
We had explicitly booked the room with breakfast several months in advance. At around 9:30 p.m., the owner appeared visibly annoyed, without greeting us, and asked when we would like to have breakfast. He then explained rather brusquely that it was an exception for the room to be offered with breakfast through Booking, even though we had booked exactly this service regularly through Genius.
When I asked from what time breakfast would be available, he replied, in essence, that he did not care about the time, but that he could not go shopping until 8:00 a.m., meaning breakfast would be ready at the earliest around 9:00 a.m. He then turned around and disappeared without another word.
The friendly lady who handed over the keys had already led us to expect breakfast from 10:00 a.m. upon arrival—after all, one wants to let one’s guests sleep in. This was somewhat puzzling, considering that our booking had been known for months. Shopping the day before would probably have solved the problem quite easily.
The next morning, we received only an email informing us that his car had broken down and that he therefore could not bring us breakfast. Although the owner had our phone number, he did not contact us personally, nor did he offer any alternative.
We therefore gratefully declined breakfast on the following day.
Conclusion: A truly charming little room in a beautiful location, but the unprofessional and rather inhospitable handling of a perfectly normal service that had been booked and paid for in advance unfortunately left a very negative impression.
