The resort is a hidden gem almost literally because you can drive past it before you know it.
Owner Mike and his team are friendly, welcoming and helpful. They do their best to make your stay enjoyable.
The breakfast buffet is small but complemented by Mike's freshly prepared eggs and good coffee.
Though the location is right beside the road there's little traffic at night so nothing stands in the way of a good night's sleep.
Highly recommended.

Charming view of the lake, close the Bancroft

Cuisine had great choices, amazingly prepared and staff took care to ensure guests were well taken care of and that every detail was attended to. Wholeheartedly recommend this - proprietor Mike is a welcoming person and cared for us like family. Ruth prepared a scrumptious dinner and it was delicious and filling. Lasagne is beyond well done!
The weather did not quite cooperate but the surrounding vistas, the lake, the interaction with staff made the trip wonderful - restful and we can't wait to go back. This time bringing more friends, colleagues and family to share the splendour.
