This extraordinarily relaxing & serene home-away-from-home at the beach is a beautiful, classic 2 bedroom California beach bungalow. Just steps to the beach with ocean views inside and out.
Walk to famous Tamarack beach on a scenic trail. You will love dining on the patio and gazing out to the sea. Relax as children and pets play in the yard.
From the house, it's just a quick 1 mile drive -- or a gorgeous 20 minute walk along the ocean -- to the center of Carlsbad's Village, where you will find restaurants of every description, lots of shops and the Coaster train station.
Go just 1 mile in a different direction to find a supermarket, drug store, the freeway entrance, and all the conveniences.
Gourmet markets, fine dining and shopping, and Legoland theme park are all available within minutes.
Your beach house is fully equipped, and features wonderfully comfortable beds, a big TV in the living room, a well-stocked kitchen, off-street parking, private laundry facilities, a grassy yard with patio furnished for outdoor dining and lounging, a propane grill, a fire-ring for enjoying an evening beverage, and an outdoor shower for your pleasure upon returning from the beach.
And it's sparkling clean!
At the beach you will find lifeguards, restrooms and showers. There are designated areas for surfing and swimming. Beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, boogey boards, beach toys and coolers are provided. We had a nice stay. Over all the property was in a good spot for what we were looking for. I was pleased with the home over all. I think there could’ve been a better job with maintaining the exterior of the home. Lots of cobwebs/spider egg nests under patio chairs that we were sitting on. Spiders in windows all along exterior. I know they’re common in California but it could’ve been maintained better in my opinion. Our living room television wouldn’t connect to the WiFi. We tried trouble shooting but couldn’t get it to connect to any streaming services. The cable tv doesn’t really have a ton of channels to choose from. The couch upon check in seemed to have alot of dog hair and or fuzz from previous guest. Same with my bed sheets. Lots of black short dog hair. We just got a lint roller and fixed it. Just some little things that I would have thought wouldn’t have been the case. They were prompt with replacing the bbq grill when the first one was broke when we tried grilling. Overall we had a nice time.

Excellent spot for a small family with a dog. Nice fenced in yard, bbq, fully equipped kitchen, everything you need for a great stay. Very close to the lagoon trail for great dog walks. Many people drive to this location to access the lagoon and beach, you are already there!

Our family had a great time staying at this beach house. The neighborhood was quiet and relaxing while being close to the beach. The house was comfortable and clean and has a nice view of the ocean. Our family and dog enjoyed the evenings in the large yard eating dinner, watching the sunset, and spending time by the fire pit. Would definitely stay here again!
