We only stayed one night at the Maxim Hotel on our way home. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room (on the 1st floor, hotel does not have an elevator) is not large, but nicely decorated and very clean.
The beach is very close, but crowded with expensive sun loungers and parasols.
We didn't like the breakfast very much (additional charge, self-service)

The location was good, just by the main road. The room was alright with a balcony. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel
No elevator, so had to climb up 3 floors. The bathroom had a bad smell, and there was a restriction on water usage between 8 and 10 am/pm.
