Lodge Hôtel de Sommedieue Verdun

Superb location in the Lorraine National Park with plenty of walking opportunities nearby. Hotel grounds are spacious and tranquil with trees and lakes, plenty of on-site parking, friendly and helpful hosts, and excellent food (both evening and breakfast) in the lodge with cosy atmosphere and an open fire. One of the biggest rooms we've ever seen, spacious (to say the least!), clean, comfortable and quiet, with very modern fittings.

Nothing, all good

Very large and clean rooms with modern facilities and great shower room

It looks a little run down from the outside

A great hotel in a fantastic location. We were on a motorcycle tour and booked four twin rooms all of which were enormous with two double beds per room and great facilities. The location off the hotel itself is wonderful and very peaceful by the lake. Communication with the hotel was first class and they arranged a three course meal for us in the evening which was very good and had a number of our party trying and enjoying things that they wouldn't have otherwise have considered eating.

Nothing

A beautiful country side environment. Very nice helpful people.
