Very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was very clean and tidy. Only a 7min walk to the bus station that connects to Punta arenas or Torres del Paine national park. Breakfast although simple, was tasty with freshly made scrambled eggs, toast, cold cuts, yoghurt, fruit and teas and coffees. Tea, coffee and hot water is always accessible in the dining area until 10pm. No fridge in the room but you can ask to store your perishable items in the kitchen. There is a laundry service 2 min walk away which was very reasonably priced and completed for us in 2hrs.
The room cost for a double bed was more than for two single beds!

The rooms were spacious and clean and the shower water pressure was amazing. We also loved the heated towel racks. The breakfast buffet was a great spread and we were able to fill up ahead of our hike days. The staff were so friendly and flexible, due to a flight cancellation we arrived at 2:30 am, and they were able to accommodate the check in. We were so happy with our stay and would definitely recommend Hostal America!

We enjoyed our stay, it is close to the bus terminal and staff are super nice. The stored our luggage while on the W.
A bit of a walk to town, but an enjoyable walk...
