I’d stay somewhere with curtains/blinds and wifi next time.

Good location. Clean property. Good bathroom. Comfortable bed.

The bedroom had no curtains or blinds and the apartment had no WiFi. I contacted the staff at the central hub on both matters but they just asked us to reboot the router (there wasn’t one anywhere in the apartment) and they said they’d send someone to fit curtains (they didn’t).

Nice size room good location

Needs curtains - also need to identify which key is for which door - I know that is minor but in the dark it's a pain. The drop boxes could do with being renewed - the numbers were hard to read and a shorter person might have difficulty reading them

Underwhelming, inefficient and disorganized

Great location - easy to get around due to good public transport connects. For fit guests reaching the city center by foot is also very reasonable - time and effort-wise. Well equipped and modern kitchen. Comfortable beds. Friendly and responsive (although ultimately unhelpful/inefficient) staff.

No internet after the 3rd day. Then, while we were out sightseeing, we got a very polite message that the maintenance crew needed to access the apartment to fix a collective internet connection (router), which we allowed. When we came back, the router was gone and there was no wifi at all. We contacted the hosts and they said "just use the wifi access instructions" despite our explanation. There was no network available because there was no router. 2 days after that I insisted for an answer and got told they were "trying to find out what happened" with the maintenance team. We stayed for 10 days in total so there was ample time for them to fix the situation, but they never did. They also never apologized for it nor offered anything to make up for the lack of this basic amenity. The check-in instructions were outdated - the photos and description referred to a key pad which had since been moved to a new location. When we contacted the hosts via message, they answered to just "look at the instructions" and basically ignored our mention of it no longer corresponding to reality. We had to figure everything out ourselves. It was not very hard in the end, but it took time to get an answer from them and it was overall quite confusing, not in the least bit well organized. The bathroom ventilation was insufficient. After one shower the entire place became very damp even though we aired out everyday, 3 times a day, to ensure indoor air quality for us. The bathtub glass wall is not sealed properly, water seeps and puddles the floor from there. We had to mop after each shower. The apartment was not very well clean. There were mountains of dust under the bed as well as a dirty sock from previous guests. There were curtain rods but no curtains at all - felt like they were taken out for cleaning but never put back? The apartment was on the ground floor and street-facing...

A true gem in central Leipzig.

This is a true gem centrally located in Leipzig, with everything we needed and wished for, and a charming, small garden as an extra bonus. Tastefully decorated rooms and fully supplied kitchen. We were a bit worried when we discovered a church on the other side of the street, in case there would be churchbells marking every hour through the night… but the bell ringing stopped early in the evening and weren’t bothersome at all. In short, the place lived up to its name, in a quiet side street in walking distance to the city centre. Will certainly stay there again!

The room is on the ground floor, and the floors are a bit cold, so bring slippers 😊
