Wontonmeen is in a good location a short walk from Prince Edward station. There's a key code to get into the building and a card to get into the hostel. The hostel is on the 2nd floor and the building has a lift. I stayed in a double room which was comfortable and had a clean bathroom attached. There is a rooftop terrace on the top of the building which was nice to sit in. The owner communicated via Whatsapp sharing details of nearby restaurants, though I didn't see anyone whilst I was there. It was perfect for what I needed - somewhere to sleep for one night during a 24 hour stop over in HK, but not a hostel where you'd likely meet other travellers.

It is spacious enough for a hostel, not too cramped and good storage for your luggage. Good design. The little curtains gave you that little extra privacy. Your storage could be locked with padlock if you brought one or you could buy one. Airco worked super well. International friendly.
The location was a bit more away from central area.
It can be hard to spot the entrance first time. Be on lookout for the number 135. Attached pictures

The owner was very nice and gave a list of really good Recs in the area.
Honestly, this hostel had weird vibes and it’s incredibly small. I am talking about both the room and the overall hostel itself. There is only 1 toilet and 1 shower in a very small corner of the room for 5 beds. There is nowhere to comfortably lounge. Towels are not provided nor can you rent any.
This hostel is overpriced for what it offers. I ended up moving to a different, much more legitimate hostel about 15 minutes away that is cheaper, nicer, social, and provides towels.
