Best is the staff. They were proactive in ensuring someone would be there to meet us when we arrived quite late (around midnight). The next morning another person was there to offer us a simple but good continental breakfast and excellent guidance for exploring the city. The B & B is is in a great location in old Napoli. The alley location can feel a bit dodgy at first because the alley - like all of the old city - is covered in graffiti. (It's very surprising to me the city keeps allowing teenagers to purchase spray paint cans!). But the hotel is charming inside, and gives a good feel for local living.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Alchimia Napoletana; Claudia was very helpful and welcoming. The property has everything you need, and the location is great and easy to get to.

Very comfortable room and big bathroom.every day cleaning.
Very good breakfast with fresh croissants, milk, juices, etc. In the middle of everything, near the centre, the port.
Everything perfect

The family, Giuseppe, Claudia and their mother Victoria were excellent. They were responsive, very welcoming and really worked hard to take care of our needs. Our room was very large and clean and the bed was very comfortable. Large fresh croissants (chocolate and marmalade filled) were brought each morning for breakfast and their was many other items including yogurt, cereal, juice and small pastries. The location is within walking distance to many attractions in the historic center and to many restaurants and shops.
The location is a bit difficult to find and even our taxi driver from the airport got a little lost. Two of our 3 nights were quiet and you could barely hear cars or people in the evening. The third night (Thursday) we found out there was a nightclub down one building at street level with a very loud band and many young people spilling out onto the street so it was rather noisy until about 2:00 in the morning.
