We really enjoyed our week at this apartment last month. It is very spacious, extremely clean and exceptionally well equipped with everything you could need. The dual air-conditioning system for the living room and bedroom were most welcome. We certainly made use of them with the unusually high temperatures and a heatwave during our stay. Tip- if you are staying during hot weather, close the blinds in the living room before you go out! It was great to have a separate bathroom and toilet. The bathroom was bright and airy with constant hot water and very responsive temperature control in the shower. There was a copious amount of storage space in the bedroom. The kitchen area had plenty of worktop space and a large fridge-freezer. The living room was bright and spacious with comfortable sofa and table chairs which we used for breakfast. As others have said, the views from this apartment are wonderful- from both living room and bedroom. Yes, there are a lot of stairs to climb, but 'no pain no gain' as they say and it's worth it. Access to the small balcony from the living room is rather unusual and a little tricky, but we got used to it and always enjoyed a beer there in the early evenings, admiring the view and watching the sun going down. We found the location to be perfect for our needs. Plenty of restaurants, shops and attractions within 10 minutes walk in any direction. The owner Nuno was very helpful and responsive to our messages before and during our stay. If you are relying on public transport, Viana do Castelo must be THE best place to base yourself. With its train station and huge adjacent bus station, you can easily make day-trips to the north, south and east.

Very clean and comfortable. We didn’t have WiFi when we arrived but the owner sorted this out for us. Location was fabulous
The roof top balcony can only be accessed by climbing on some furniture and then through a window which would not be possible for less able

Prachtig uitzicht, groot en mooi appartement, alles wat je nodig hebt is gewoon aanwezig, speciaal balkon, goede workout doordat je naar de 4de etage gaat.
