Sophia suites is perfectly located. It’s walking distance to Fira (yes even for Santorini!) the town itself is quintessentially Greek. Relaxing and surrounded by the most beautiful Caldera. The room was exceptional, our cave cocoon was private and not overlooked. Vera and Anna went above and beyond every day to ensure we went for nothing during our stay. Room service was fast and daily breakfast choice was freshly made and delicious.

The absolute highlight of our room was the view - it was breathtaking! We especially loved enjoying it directly from our private heated pool. The room itself is quite small, but cozy and comfortable. The breakfasts included in the price were varied and delicious.
One situation ruined our final impression. The open shower and bed are directly visible through the glass doors to the terrace. About 1.5 hours before check-out (we several time told about checkout right before 11 am in messages), staff came onto our terrace without warning to clean the area and pool (which wasn't cleaned during our stay until we specifically asked). We could have been showering or changing. Paying for a private terrace, we expected full privacy until check-out. Instead, we had to close all doors and pack in the dark. We also missed enjoying the view one last time due to the cleaning right outside.

Location is spectacular. Really the only good thing going for this hotel.
Service was lacking with bare minimum hospitality. We paid a premium for the room with an indoor pool, however the pool was cold and unusable. We notified the staff and nothing was done for over 24 hrs and the pool temperature was never rectified during our stay.
