Totoco Lodge has a beautiful location and a lovely concept, with wonderful views from the gardens. The setting is truly special, and the food was good, the service was adequate, and the prices were reasonable. It is a place with a lot of potential and a unique atmosphere.
The access road from the main road is quite rough and may be challenging for smaller or lower-clearance vehicles. The rooms and bathrooms would also benefit from some maintenance and updating, as certain details and the overall condition of the facilities did not quite match the impression given by the photos. With a little more attention to upkeep, the experience could be even better.

The views are amazing here and make it worth it. The casita we stayed in was very pretty and we really loved the outdoor shower. The staff are all friendly and were accommodating and the food and drinks were good.
You have to drive up a very steep road in poor condition to get here - even an experienced motorcyclist will have difficulty especially with two people and bags.

Nice view
It is a big construction site with all the noise and discomfort, that comes with it . No chance to relax, Work I’ll make a phone call to anything except for try to escape the noise and unpleasantness of a construction site
When actually, the Construction site should be around the rooms because they definitely need some refurbishment
Staff was rather incompetent, very slow, with little notion of how to make guests feel comfortable
Breakfast is very poor in choice and quantity
