This was absolutely and totally amazing. Expensive in comparison, but worth it if you can! They have several buildings and I was handed the keys without much further comment or explanation. And then, when I opened the building that housed my room, I couldn't believe what I was walking into, was really blown away: it was a building once renovated by Alvar Aalto and his firm, and now is largely furnished with artek interiors - there was artek furniture in a huge living space, Aalto vases on the counters, corresponding posters on the walls, a designed kitchen, artek-like play of light on the passage upstairs. The building breathed artek design history. It was just beautiful, and astounding - and, for me, unexpected. Though I had come, inter alia, to finally get a tour of famous Villa Mairea. But even without the Villa, this place has so much to offer: the setting is stunningly beautiful, the bridges, the buildings, the museum, the orchards and birch-lined paths, the opportunities to walk and understand and have some peace in a special place. This was awesome, and special. Parking no problem, wifi stable, everything good, breakfast really good. This is not exactly "affordable", but you get something quite special for it.

Underbar miljö. Städigt och rent överallt och mysiga rum. Väldigt god frukost. Perfekt för någon som söker lugn. Romantisk getaway

Huoneet ovat viihtyisät ja plussaa on astianpesukone saatavilla. Aamiainen on erinomainen ja näkymät alueella todella kauniit.
