Very good value for money for a private room. The room was very clean and you have a table alongside the beds with a balcony too which was cool. The staff were very friendly. The toilets were very clean and never had to queue for the toilet or shower. The kitchen is huge with everything you need, lots of space. The shared living room again was big with lots of space, tables and games. The hostel wasn't noisy so we got a good sleep. We didn't rent bikes but this is also available. There's a Lawson right next door which is great and a supermarket up the road. There also were a few small restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The location was ok, it's about a 15 minute walk from the train station but there are a couple of buses that go between nearby and the station. You can see Fuji from the street outside which is cool. Also very close to the lake which was a nice walk. It's not particularly modern or anything but for a night or two to see Fuji for the price it was pretty good. They have umbrellas available to borrow and you can leave your luggage as well.
The showers were a bit grubby and there is mould on the walls in the shower rooms.
