We will miss the El Greco while it is being refurbished. Excellent location for s 90 yr old couple.
Possibly only the music at times from Peninda Peninda. But we adjusted to it.
We remember it from its previous location.

The staff was really friendly. They even keep your key for you! I liked the little moments of contact that gave during my days.
The location was smack down in the middle of the big shopping street, which was perfect because you can always pop out for some good food very quickly. If you don't like crowds this might be something to take into account though, especially in the weekends.
A nice addition: there is a place selling pastries next doors with large opening times, making it perfect for a quick breakfast in the morning or a snack later.
The bathroom and shower is rather small, but with a bit of determination and an extra towel to keep the water from running everywhere it was doable. However, I was alone. With more people it might be a bit annoying.

The rest room smells like old pipes at evening when you sleep, you need to close the door to be able to sleep.
If you leave your bags there for few hours after checkout, they said they are not responsible if it is stolen, and I have to keep eye on it, but I wanted to leave hotel for few hours, and make a tag on bags to secure them is easy and cost nothing, I did not understand why they did not want to help, then I had to take all my bags with me carrying all day.
