Great location, poorly maintained and badly managed

Just a few minutes from the Trevi Fountain, but unfortunately that was the main positive. The apartment is poorly maintained: strong smell of mould, broken blind, loose kitchen cabinets and a broken toilet flush that often did not work properly or kept the water running. The air conditioning was weak and old, with only one remote for two units in different rooms. The Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable and did not work around 90% of the time. Several of these issues had already been mentioned by previous guests months ago and are still unresolved. We reported the toilet problem and were told someone would come, but nobody did, ofc. Check-in was also badly organised. it shows two different addresses and neither is correct. Access instructions were not sent automatically, replies can take hours, so confirm everything in advance or you may end up waiting outside. The listing also stated *no* extra pet fee, but we were still asked to pay one. Good location, but not worth the lack of maintenance and poor communication. I would not stay here again, especially with other options nearby in the same price range. I have stayed in many tourist cities, but I have never stayed in an apartment with so many maintenance issues. Edit: I’m attaching the message I received from the host after posting this review. 1-I did not complain about anything that previous guests had not already mentioned months ago. All things is true. 2- And yes, apparently I really don’t know how to use a broken toilet flush, only the ones that actually work. :) Host's message: ~~Your life is a disg**ce and being bad in other people life and work should be horrible. Instead of talking and maybe solve some issue you hide and when you have the little power to ask compensations and put bad review you finally feel important. You do not even know how to flush like some other tourist. Also we really believe that all the bad stuff you through will come back. And Im sure of that. Good luck miser**le human ~~

*Strong smell of mould. *Poor maintenance throughout the apartment. *Broken toilet flush. *Weak air conditioning. *Wi-Fi was terrible, unavailable for most of our stay. *Broken blind, loose kitchen cabinets and faulty bathroom lights. *Poorly organised check-in and very poor communication with the owner, with replies often taking hours. *booking provided two different addresses for the property, neither was correct. * 2 floor - elevator isn't working.

Nice stay if you’re not looking for a hotel

The property was large and spacious with a lot of great facilities if you’re looking for an apartment. The bed was comfy and the lounge space was satisfactory. The team were nice in helping to accomodate an earlier check in and late checkout.

The wifi was terrible not reaching to the bedroom - when we asked if they could help connect to another one of the lines there was not a real response. There was no lift and the apartment was on level 2 - but the team helped to lift the suitcases. The apartment is a little dark at night - there could be more lights added.

Appartamento spazioso, confortevole, molto carino

In posizione comodissima, a circa 20 minuti a piedi da tanti luoghi storici famosi. In una zona viva anche la sera, tranquilla e con bar e ristoranti vicini. Metropolitana a 20 metri. Ottimo!

L’emplacement idéal en plein centre, nous avons essentiellement circulé à pieds, et avons pris le bus dont l’arrêt est à 2 minutes à pieds de l’appartement. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la climatisation en ce mois d août !

C’est un détail, mais régler les portes des placards, serrer les abats jours etc… serait appréciable !
