Blue Bay Resort is wonderful. I would encourage anybody to try it, but book something near the beach.
Very hard to find something that could have been better.

The services was really great and I enjoyed the restaurant we ate on the property.
The rooms were really hot. The AC did not circulate into the living room area. That had nothing to do with the staff or anything, but just the overall make of the property.

The property is beautiful
It shows it as if you were right on the beach or near to the beach, but you aren’t. The property is 200+ acres so I would call to verify that what you’re booking is walking distance from the beach vs having to drive to the beach.

Felt very safe in the complex. Pool was nice and clean. Cleaning staff came daily and offered towels and coffee. Kitchen well stocked with plates, pans, cups, utensils.
Although there was a kitchen, almost nothing was available in terms or salt and pepper, oil, or even napkins or paper towels. No basic things for the kitchen. Also realized upon arrival there is no AC in the common areas or kitchen or living room, only in the room. AC or at the very least a fan in the living area would have made the stay so much more comfortable. It was excruciatingly hot even with the sliding glass doors open.
