The location was great, and the staff was extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. They really made our stay more pleasant!
The hotel felt a bit outdated and could definitely use some renovations. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not as good as we expected.

Everything was perfect.
Nothing.

Comfy, clean, friendly staff, nice view. Pretty basic overall, nothing wrong, nothing amazing. Did feel expensive for what you get.
Tv didn’t seem to be a smart tv/be able to connect to your phone which seemed backward. It’s a bit out of the way location wise, not super close to public transport but there are some connections. Around 20 mins from central station which is nice.

The breakfast was (very) expensive but also very nice. You have a wide assortment on the buffet but you can also order a la carte items at no extra cost. The location of the hotel is good and it is easy to get around in Cologne from here.
The first night my room was not cleaned when I returned in the late afternoon. I had to wait an hour in the reception area while my room was cleaned. Also the other days the cleaning was not good. An empty wine bottle was left in the room for two days. An empty toothpaste tube was left two days etcetera. For a room that is this expensive you would expect better cleaning. This said, I received a 30 percent discount on my first night as a compensation.
Also beware that on weekends the breakfast buffet quickly runs out of items that are not replentished fast enough. On the weekend when I was there there was no youghurt and crumble (that I had on the week days), no fried mushroom and so on. You can still order a la carte, but be prepared to wait for your dish.
