Dear Management, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding our one-week stay at your chalet in Rovaniemi. Unfortunately, we experienced problems from the very first day of our stay, and these issues significantly affected our overall experience. The first problem concerned the shower. Due to its open design and lack of adequate protection, water would spread all over the bathroom floor every time we took a shower, causing considerable inconvenience. We immediately reported this issue to the reception, expecting assistance and a practical solution. However, despite bringing it to your attention, nothing was done to resolve the problem. Instead, we were made to feel as though the issue was somehow our fault or related to the way we were using the shower, which was both frustrating and disappointing. Furthermore, another incident caused us even greater concern. One evening, we returned to our chalet and found the front door open. We had no idea who had opened it, who had entered, or why it had been left in that condition. We reported this incident to the reception as well, but unfortunately, we received no clear explanation or satisfactory reassurance. We were simply told that Finland and the property were safe places. While we appreciate that, it does not answer the question of how our chalet door could have been left open in the first place. This situation raised serious concerns regarding our security, privacy and peace of mind. What disappointed us most was not only the problems themselves, but also the way they were handled by the staff. Despite reporting both incidents, we received no meaningful assistance, no alternative solution, no apology accompanied by any gesture of goodwill, and no compensation whatsoever. We paid for a comfortable and relaxing stay, but unfortunately, the experience we received did not meet the standards we reasonably expected.

Location is perfect, it is within in the city, 10 mins away for airport and 12 mins away from train station. Perfect location to see northern lights by the lake. Rooms were clean and cozy. Only climbing upstairs was difficult as the stairs were narrow and steep. WiFi is good and well connected Breakfast was good and had nice spread but same all day no change in menu.

Breakfast is good. Staff are lovely. Our checkout is early, they prepared the breakfast in the previous night. Well done.

The locations was near Rovaniemi. Right under the ski pistes. So if someone want to ski I guess that is fine

Where to start. The chalets are NOT serviced. That means - there is no cleaning service. - there is no soap, shampoo or anything like that - you can’t buy soap at the reception either (you have to go to a supermarket They are utterly inhospitable people in this hotel management : - the waiters are very polite but they reception is so very inflexible and inhospitable - we were stranded in Rovaniemi because of a snow storm without anywhere to stay and we requested the hotel to accept us back for the night to stay in the couch and not die from the cold (-15c and snowstorm and ZERO availability to stay anywhere 100km around the Rovaniemi area) and they just denied and said “it’s not our obligation”. - even if it was NOT their obligation they still had a moral obligation to help us out
