The history of the hotel along with the perfect location and outstanding staff. Also, the view from our room was of the pyramid divine. The Land rover museum is on property and the chocolate museum is steps away. We took the Land rover tour, which was amazing. You get to go through the fruit, Grous, which they serve much of Farm to table at the local restaurant. And you get to go to the top of a tower and view the Peter Divino.
The most spectacular part of our stay in addition to the already wonderful cities was that the Staff totally made my husband‘s birthday a VIP gold star experience from soup tonight they surprise both of us with special little nuances and treats throughout the day and evening, actually from the beginning of our stay they made us feel so special and we couldn’t think the staff enough

Beautiful resort feel with multiple pools, palm trees, and clusters of buildings instead of one large hotel. Our was spacious and comfortable.
We were there during the off season so the pace of the service was a little off. Also, we had the hotel wash some of our laundry which was VERY expensive (like $95 for a medium sized laundry bag!)

We love The Lodge! It's a paradise to visit. Highly recommended! Also, what birdsong in the morning. Incredible! Good food in the restaurant. Also only 200 m to the entrance of Uxmal. Better to have more days here than in Chichén Itzà. We actually went here twice! That says it all, right?

The location was excellent, short waking distance from Uxmal ,the staff was very friendly and kind and the breakfast was really good but pricey.
The beds were really uncomfortable, the bathroom was old and had moldy, we did not had a phone to communicate with reception, the tv was old and we could not figure out how to make it work.
